Can I make copies of an EyeLight Media product to give away?

Our films and videos can contain licensed material such as background music tracks. These licenses are limited to a certain number of copies. In order to make additional copies, we must pay additional funds to these licensing companies. When we duplicate our products throuhg a professionally-certified replication service, we must provide proof of the licensed material contained in our products.

Therefore, we cannot authorize the duplication of our products. If you have additional questions about the duplication of an EyeLight Media product, please contact us.

Are your products available for reselling?

Our products are available for reselling. Since we must pay additional music royalties for products that are resold, the price per item will be based on the number of items intended for resale. We rely on the honesty of our resellers to accurately report their use of the videos upon purchase. For more details, please visit our our resale policy.

I’m interested in doing a massive distribution of an EyeLight Media product. Is it possible to get copies without the casing we I can get a break on the price?

Yes. Our products can be replicated without the extra packaging in order to save you money. The product must be ordered from EyeLight Media in quantities of 1000 (one thousand). The actual per item price depends on the amount ordered. We also require that any product ordered in this way be used for large scale events or distribution, rather than sitting in boxes and handed out in small quantities over a long period of time. We will ask you for a plan for their use prior to the distribution, and a report following the distribution. Please contact us for more details.

I’d like to show an EyeLight Media product at my church or other event. Can I do that?

As mentioned, our films and videos can contain licensed material such as background music tracks. The music licensing companies require that we pay a royalty for non-broadcast multimedia events. We encourage the showing of our products as long it can be done in a legal manner.

We can assist you in promoting your event by providing a sample Press Release for your local newspaper and a Premier showing checklist that will help you organize your event.

We also ask that you have written permission from EyeLight Media and the venue where the product will be shown. We also ask that you not charge for admission or use the showing to raise revenue.

If you want to have copies of the product on hand to sell during the event, we request that you not sell them for more than you paid for them. If you wish to resell them for any kind of profit or fundraising, you will need to check out our resale policy.

We have a no-risk “consignment” option for non-fundraising use of the videos, which allows you to pre-order the items you want to have on hand before the event, sell them at cost, and then return any product that are left over. You will be charged for what you do not return (a credit card is required). This option alows you to risk nothing other than the postage to and from your location. Consignment is not an option for videos that are resold for more than was paid for them.
